Pioneer & Freedom Families
Each year the African American Heritage Society strives to add another chapter to the rich African American History of Williamson County. In compiling and recording this history we include names of slaves, slave owners and locations merely as references. We interpret the records used to the best of our knowledge and ability without blame or malice, for only by doing this can the “Whole Story Be Told”.
